IGSA Privacy Policy

The International Girls’ Studies Association (IGSA) collects member details via a membership form upon joining the Association. The details you submit are used internally by the IGSA for the purposes of membership administration; with consent given on the member details form, your email address will also be added to the IGSA email database for the purposes of communication via the IGSA mailing list.

The IGSA does not share member details with any other organisation or association. Member details are deleted from our records upon cessation of membership. If you do not consent to your member details being collected or to your email address being added to the email list you may opt out during the member registration process or change your preferences at any time. If you are an EU data subject (an individual located in the European Union), effective 25 May 2018, you have the right to obtain your Personal Data from us that you consented to give us. We will give you your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to request your data be deleted from our database.
